Finally, to release heat once all that movement has worked up a sweat, the clothing features zippered armpit vents and leg openings to cool you off.
In terms of fit, the pants are constructed with a built-in waist belt to ensure they don't slip when worn over other layers. The clasp is of a low profile, to fit comfortably under a backpack's waist belt. A Cordura seat in the pants and drop back hem on the jacket provide additional abrasion resistance when seated on rough ground. Despite all this functionality, the pants weigh in at a mere 32 ounces.
