Modern Precision Pistol Lede

Christensen Arms has announced the relaunch of the Modern Precision Pistol (MPP), a compact and versatile bolt-action pistol designed for unmatched performance in backcountry hunting. Initially available in .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor, the MPP combines cutting-edge technology with a lightweight, pack-ready design.

The Modern Precision Pistol features a 416R stainless steel, aero-grade carbon fiber-wrapped barrel with a target profile, ensuring accuracy and durability. Its precision-machined receiver boasts a black nitride finish and a skeletonized bolt handle for smooth operation. The MPP’s 7075 aluminum pistol chassis, finished with a hardcoat black anodize, incorporates V-block bedding and is compatible with standard AR grips offering shooters a customizable and ergonomic platform.

Features:

  • A carbon fiber handguard with M-LOK slots for accessory customization
  • Two quick-detach (QD) mounts for rapid sling attachment
  • A removable stainless steel side baffle brake with threaded muzzle (5/8×24 or 1/2×28 TPI, depending on caliber)
  • An oversized tactical bolt knob and TriggerTech flat trigger for precise control
  • A Forward mount rail with integrated barricade stop
  • AICS-compatible detachable magazine with a tactical mag release
  • An SB Tactical FS1913A folding stabilizing brace, reducing overall length for compact storage
  • Barrel length of 12.5 inches with an overall length of 33.25 inches

Weighing 6 pounds, the MPP is engineered for portability without sacrificing performance. Its folding chassis and short, carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel make it ideal for backpacking, truck carry, or concealed use, while maintaining the same accuracy potential and dependability as Christensen Arms’ renowned Modern Precision Rifle (MPR). “The relaunched MPP delivers the same precision and reliability our customers expect from Christensen Arms, now in a compact pistol platform,” said Shane Meisel, VP of Marketing at Christensen Arms. “Whether you’re navigating rugged terrain or competing at the range, the MPP is built to excel in any scenario.”

The MPP is proudly made in the USA, utilizing Christensen Arms’ advanced carbon fiber technology and aerospace-grade materials. For more information, visit christensenarms.comMSRP: $2295
