Remington has announced a new variant of its Model 870 pump-action shotgun, which feeds from a detachable box magazine and features a few extra additions, as well.
The new Model 870 DM (detachable magazine) Predator 12-gauge shotgun comes with three and six-round magazines, allowing for fast reloads during hot predator, hog and varmint action.
An 18.5-inch barrel chambered for 3-inch shells makes the 870 DM Predator maneuverable in the woods, and it comes with Trulock’s Boar Blaster and Turkey/Predator extended chokes. The overmolded ShurShot Thumbhole stock allows for easy shouldering and steady aiming with an optic, while the corncob-shaped fore-end provides a positive grip in wet conditions for sure cycling.
The 870 DM Predator is topped with an XS Sights Tactical Rail with an integral Ghost Ring rear sight, along with a ramped, steel front sight. The shotgun has a Kryptek Highlander camo finish and retails for $799.
