SportDog has rolled out a number of new gundog-friendly products for 2014—among them, a revamped Pink Camo FieldTrainer 425 and the brand new Tek 2.0.
The Pink Camo FieldTrainer 425 provides the same capabilities as other SportDog e-collars and sports a compact design that features a 2.4-ounce remote transmitter and 3.3-ounce collar receiver with strap. Other features include a 500-yard range, seven stimulation levels and the ability to control three dogs at once without loss of vibe/tone features. Both the transmitter and receiver are waterproof and submersible up to 25 feet. The Pink Camo FieldTrainer 425 will be available at retailers in June.
The company has released very little information thus far on the Tek 2.0, which is due to hit shelves sometime this fall. SportDog put the new technology on display to show consumers that the its has been listening to their concerns—namely regarding maps, which will be included in the Tek 2.0.
