You might recall that American Rifleman Editor in Chief Mark Keefe got a sneak preview of the American at Ruger's New Port, N.H. factory late last year. With an affordable price tag of $449, the Ruger American Rifle features the Ruger Marksman Adjustable Trigger and a four-round capacity, polymer rotary magazine.
