The "big brother" to the company's SR-556, Ruger's 7.62/.308 Win. chambered SR-762 has been well-received by the AR industry at large.

Built on the popular Model 336 action, the Marlin 1895 GSBL (Guide series, Stainless steel, Big-loop, Laminate stock) is chambered in .45-70 Govt. and features a full-length tubular magazine.

Lightweight and accurate, the Mountain Ascent rifle from Kimber features a Kevlar-reinforced carbon fiber stock for added durability. With a barreled action finished in Shade Gray KimPro II, the Mountain Ascent rifle has a fluted barrel and bolt which cuts unnecessary weight, and a muzzle brake with cap that helps reduce felt recoil.

Though not something you see everyday, pump-action rifles remain in production at a number of different companies—including Remington. Big Green is still building pump-action repeating rifles, and the 7600's modern machining and utility-driven design, paired with one of America's favorite deer cartridges, combines to create an excellent, if unorthodox, hunting firearm.

Just two years ago, Ruger celebrated the 50th Anniversary of its venerable 10/22. One of the industry's most widely respected rimfire rifles, the 10/22 has earned a lasting home in the gun safe of many a hunter and shooter. Its dependability and versatility have endeared it to the American public, and there are few doubts that it'll be around for another five decades, at least.

28 gauge is back in force, of that there is little doubt. Weatherby was one of the first companies to embrace the return of the formidable game cartridge a couple years back, with the introduction of the SA-08 28.

In 1977 Ruger bucked the trend in a hunting market dominated by pump and semi-auto shotguns, introducing a new American-made over/under, the Red Label. The Red Label became a cult favorite among shotgunners until it faded from the Ruger line.

Ruger's American Rifle found instant acclaim upon its release, and the company predictably has expanded its reach in the years since. Among the original additions to the American Rifle line was the Ruger American Rimfire.
