It’s not every day a whitetail’s antlers break the 300 B&C score mark, let alone surpass the current World’s Record by more than 20 inches!

So, over the past few months I've been blogging here and there, covering quirky whitetails stories and holding trumped up contests to get your attention.

No, I don't have list of every single deer killed in 2010. I also don't have a source at Boone & Crockett feeding me inside information on the the record books giants that were taken down this fall.

After several years of study in “whitetail university” among the oak-covered landscape of his small piece of Kansas, the author has learned two valuable lessons: The deer do the teaching, and he’s a pretty dumb student.
