Speer Ammunition was recently awarded a record $12 million contract with the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection for the company’s 9mm Service Ammunition.
With a 4-inch barrel, a stainless or black slide, a 1911 grip angle and a slim metal magazine, this double-stack, striker-fired 9mm retains the narrow profile of its single-stack, sub-compact cousin.
The new M&P9 Shield EZ features easy-to-grasp tapered slide serrations, a simple grip safety, a crisp, light trigger with tactile and audible reset, and a Picatinny rail to accommodate accessories.
