2017 NRA Mentor Initiative Launches, Winchester Among Sponsors
The NRA Mentor Initiative Program has returned for 2017. As part of the program, we are encouraging all 5 million NRA members to mentor a new shooter. Winchester Ammunition has joined us a sponsor, and has contributed to the 30 prizes you could be eligible to win in the official Mentor Sweepstakes.
Cars for Freedom
The NRA Foundation has launched a new campaign, NRA Cars for Freedom, and is asking NRA members for their assistance. If you have an old car, tractor, boat, motorcycle or other unused vehicle, the NRA Foundation will pick it up, free of charge, in nearly any condition.
National Wild Turkey Federation Launches Rise and Fly Campaign
Since 1973 the National Wild Turkey Federation has fought to conserve wild turkeys and protect the hunting heritage. In 2016, the organization is asking for your help. More specifically, it's asking members—both current and prospective—to "Rise and Fly" and help spread the mission's good word.

Last summer, Weatherby's "Women of Weatherby" initiative launched a "Name Your Rifle" program, offering consumers the opportunity to vote on the name of an otherwise mysterious new firearm. We got more details at SHOT Show 2016 when the company announced its new Camilla Vanguard, a rifle designed for women, by women.
