It's turkey season, y'all. Though seasons aren't quite open nationwide yet, thousands of hunters have already ventured into the great outdoors this spring to embrace the madness that is turkey hunting.

NRA Pubs' own Tom Rickwalder and his son, Jackson, ventured to Kentucky earlier this spring for the state's youth turkey hunting weekend with Mark Moore of Osceola Outdoors. The gobblers were ready and waiting—but would young Jack tag one?

Earlier this spring, NRA Pubs' Tom Rickwalder journeyed to Florida to hunt Osceola turkeys with the National Wild Turkey Federation, Bushnell and Federal Premium, among others. After tagging his bird, he was given the chance to hunt a management alligator in the state's swampland. Guided by Justin Guerry of Osceola Outdoors, Tom took his first-ever shot at a gator.
