The NRA Hunters' Leadership Forum rallies the troops and reaffirms its commitment as the financial backbone needed to win America's culture war on hunting.

About this time last year, Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc., pledged to donate $2 to the National Rifle Association for each new Ruger firearm sold between the 2015 and 2016 NRA Annual Meetings. Ruger delivered on its promise, and donated some $4 million to NRA earlier this year, in Louisville. The success has inspired the company to raise the bar a peg and extend the promotion—enter the "2.5 Million Gun Challenge."

Taurus is auctioning off a 10th Anniversary Judge on GunBroker.com, and all proceeds will benefit the ongoing efforts of NRA-ILA. The auction is live now, and runs through Oct. 2, 2016.

Springfield Armory has announced a Valentine’s Day fundraiser benefiting the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (CKFF). Partnering with the gunsmithing and finishing experts at XDMAN, the company will auction two custom-finish “his and hers” Saint AR-15 rifles on GunBroker.com and donate all proceeds to the Foundation.

A group of pheasant hunters in mid-Michigan banded together to organize a charity hunt in honor of Vietnam veteran Bob Brinker. The proceeds from the event benefitted veterans and children with neuroblastoma.

PH Pete Swanepoel set out to Zambia on a mission to hunt with a one-of-a-kind Livingstone-Henry rifle prior to donating it to the Livingstone Museum, but a series of unfortunate events made neither possible.

While it’s easy to recognize the benefits of programs like Hunters for the Hungry, sharing game meat has a host of other positive impacts that are more difficult to quantify.
