Benelli has announced the third annual Benelli USA Invitational, a team-based sporting clays competition that raises money for Freedom Hunters. The shoot will be held on Sept. 15, 2017, at Prince George's County Trap and Skeet in Glen Dale, Maryland.

The second annual Benelli USA Invitational, hosted on Sept. 9, drew 214 shooters and raised more than $31,000 for the organization Freedom Hunters, which supports outdoor opportunities for active duty and combat veterans.

Each year, hundreds of American citizens are arrested at border crossings with Mexico and Canada. Their crime? Crossing into Mexican or Canadian territory in possession of a firearm or ammunition that’s not registered according to those countries’ laws.

In celebration of Veterans Day, active-duty and retired military service members who present a military I.D. at one of Carhartt’s 21 company-owned stores will receive a complimentary exclusive hat, while supplies last.

When you're offered a chance to bust some clays and raise money for a great cause while doing so, you don't say no. It was with that in mind that four members of the NRA Publications department ventured to Queenstown, Md., on Sept. 11, 2015, for the inaugural Benelli Invitational.

Of course they can.
