This week, we’re taking a closer look at the Chiappa Little Badger Take Down Xtreme. A minimalist survival rifle, this .22 LR-chambered single shot is perfect for small game, stowing easily into a pack to carry into the backcountry while scouting for the season. With the press of a lever the gun comes in half, boasting a small enough profile to be stored in a small tube. Meanwhile, a length of Picatinny rail atop the barrel means the gun can be fitted with a reflex sight, though iron sights are included from the factory. Learn more about it in the video embedded above, hosted by Editor in Chief Scott Olmsted and Digital Associate Editor David Herman. MSRP: $310.37; chiappafirearms.com
