LEDE Takedown 86

Chiappa has continued its tradition of producing fine modern firearms with a pedigree in the past, with the 86 Wildlands Angle Ejection Takedown, a lever-action worth a closer look.

86 Takedown Muzzle

The 86 Wildlands Angle Ejection Takedown is a modern take on the old lever-action classic. Chambered in .45-70 Government, it is a fully capable rifle with a 1:18-inch twist, 16.5-inch barrel and a magazine-tube capacity of 4+1. The muzzle is threaded to 5/8x24 TPI for the attachment of a muzzle device like a brake or suppressor.

86 Takedown Stock

The stock is skeletonized with an adjustable comb and outfitted with an attachment point for accessories or cartridge holders. An integrated adjustable cheek rest allows for precise comfort. The fore-end is made from overbuilt aluminum with M-Lok adaptability, and features an over-receiver rail for optics attachments. The lever is wrapped in black paracord for easy use and comfortable operation.

86 Takedown

The 86 Wildlands Angle Ejection Takedown is finished in a matte-blued style. Once fired, spent cases are ejected to the side, accommodating any optic. The main distinguishing characteristic of the rifle is the takedown feature, allowing the rifle to be separated into two pieces, connecting to the receiver's front. Users can mount a scope on the rear portion of the picatinny rail and disassemble the rifle without removing the scope, making the 86 Wildlands Takedown perfect for easy carrying and storage while retaining zero. When assembled, quick connections are located on various rifle points for quick sling attachment and removal.
