Ruger has announced that its popular Ruger Scout Rifle will now be available in a .450 Bushmaster. A frequent request from hunters, the new addition to the Ruger Scout Rifle line features a stainless steel finish and a lightweight black synthetic stock.

Weighing in at 6.2 pounds, the new .450 Bushmaster model features a 16.1-inch, 11/16-24 threaded barrel with a 1:16 twist rate, and a Ruger Precision Rifle Hybrid Muzzle Brake.  The forward-mounted Picatinny rail allows for quick and easy optic mounting. It also offers a built-in, accurate sighting system with a ghost ring adjustable rear aperture sight and a non-glare, protected black front sight.

The Ruger Scout Rifle in .450 Bushmaster has an MSRP of $1,199.
