Compact, lightweight rifles are all the rage in the industry right now, and Kimber has submitted a new entry into the market with its Model 84M Adirondack.

Designed to be ideal for hunting from a stand or in thick cover, the Adirondack tips the scales at just 4 pounds, 13 ounces. Its barrel measures just 18 inches.

Chambered in 7mm-08 Remington and .308 Winchester, the Adirondack features a stainless steel barreled action with a full-length Mauser claw extractor for true controlled round feeding and extraction. The 3-position wing safety is positive and quiet, and the match grade trigger breaks crisp at 3.5 to 4 pounds. Magazine capacity is 4 rounds, plus 1 in the chamber.

The Model 84M Adirondack will available from over 2,000 Kimber Master Dealers across America at a suggested list price of $1,899. Delivery will begin in late spring.
