MAIN Traditions Shedhorn Rifles

Traditions has introduced a new addition to the traditional sidelock market with its ShedHorn rifle. The rifle brings modern innovation to the style, while still maintaining a primitive pedigree.

The ShedHorn is available in .50 caliber, boasts musket-cap ignition and fires either loose powder or Pyrodex. A chromoly steel barrel keeps this muzzleloader light and easy to carry, while with its 1:28-inch twist, the ShedHorn can fire saboted and more modern projectiles. The Accelerator Breech Plug removes by hand for easy cleaning, an incredibly convenient feature for a sidelock. Additional features include a double set trigger, Premium CeraKote Finish, and fiber-optic sights.

The ShedHorn is available for 2023 in configurations of synthetic black, Veil Wideland camo, or wood stocks with a Premium CeraKote Finish on the outside of the barrel in various colors.
