Outback Survival Gear at the Great American Outdoor Show

Outback Survival Gear and Saratoga Saddlery are selling their high-quality leather wares at this year's Great American Outdoor Show. See more of what they have to offer here.

Outback Survival Gear was started in Australia by Mick Rogers, who relocated to Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and reopened the company under the name Saratoga Saddlery. They focus on equestrian gear, but still sell a plethora of Outback Survival Gear, from oilskin coats and kangaroo hats to high-quality cowboy boots and a leather seal that's good for boots. Best of all: it's all Made in the USA. Other brands the company carries are Pikeur, Joules, Grand Prix, Kerrits, Mountain Horse, Redback and more.

I was at the Outdoor Show yesterday, 7FEB14, and was speaking to the exact woman in the video above! Yes, she has as much energy in person as in the video. I picked up a tin of the Leather Seal to re-treat a waxed-cotton jacket and some leather boots. It seems like a good product. I have no affiliation with the company. I found this blog post trying to find out more about them.
