Trying Not to Make Brock Lesnar Angry

Headline: I'm trying not to anger Brock Lesnar.

Don't get me wrong, he's a nice guy, but after my interview with him last week for an upcoming feature I'm feeling a bit nervous about writing the story. This guy is about three times my size, and I'm pretty sure positive he could knock me into the next decade. That being said, I'm reluctantly moving forward with what should be a great piece. I hope you all enjoy.

Lesnar, the self described "Baddest Man on the Planet," is definitely worth a quote, and he's about as straight forward as they come. He has an intense love for deer hunting and lives "to just go out and kill." Federal's Fusion ammo is usually the executioner. Don't take that statement the wrong way, though, he expressed a deep respect for the game that so often outsmarts us.

"It's so fun to be out there and go one-on-one with a wild animal, especially a white-tailed deer," he said. "It's amazing, and it's a challenge."

Just recently Lesnar got his young daughter into the sport. It's interesting to hear the passion in his voice when he describes the first time his daughter joined him in the field. If this 265-pound freak of nature has a soft spot, his family is at center mass.

"Taking my daughter out [hunting] is probably more rewarding than even harvesting anything," Lesnar said. "She went out and harvested a doe on our property and that is a memory she will have for her entire lifetime. I'm her Dad, and she knows I love her dearly."

If you haven't seen enough of Lesnar you can check out his day at the range here. Then tune into Spike TV tomorrow night for the start of what the network is calling "Brocktober."

The network that caters to the dude population of the U.S. is airing a three-part series in anticipation of Lesnar's champioship clash with contender Cain  Velasquez on Oct. 23.

I'll be setting my DVR.
