Deer Crashes Through Car Window, Injures Baby

We've become somewhat accustomed to stories that involve not-so-normal interactions between deer and humans in urban environments. But I can say that I've never seen anything like this.

A white-tailed doe crashed through the rear window of an SUV in the parking lot of a Satsuma, Ala., elementary school Wednesday morning injuring a baby and killing itself on impact. The doe smashed into the vehicle at full speed and landed only a foot from the car seat hitting the child in the head. Luckily, the baby came away with a mere bump and the memories of the jarring experience.

There's no telling what drove the deer to this death run, but it's safe to say it was spooked and became disoriented when it entered the school grounds. A tragedy was averted for the family of the child, and I'm sure they'll never look at a deer the same way again.

They're dangerous...we need to kill them.
