The NRA presents its newest digital media property: NRA Family InSights. After 33 years of proudly educating and entertaining Junior members with firearm safety instruction and helpful tips for beginning shooters and hunters through NRA InSights, the NRA is now taking the next logical step by embracing the youngest shooters and their families, as well as anyone who is new to firearms.
“It’s been reported that 30 million Americans have recently purchased a firearm for the first time,” states Doug Hamlin, Executive Director of NRA Publications. “Our priority with NRA Family InSights is basic instruction—how to handle firearms safely and acquire the necessary skills to enjoy all kinds of shooting sports.”
The website, www.nrafamilyinsights.org, is updated daily with articles, blogs, videos and news. Multiple categories cater to a family’s unique individual needs, from first-time gun owners to more experienced shooters and hunters who want to share their skills with the next generation.
“This digital property demonstrates the best ways to keep your family safe, from proper gun storage, to home security measures, to hands-on training ideas,” continues Hamlin. Readers can also find gun and gear reviews, ideas for outdoor vacation and recreational destinations and outdoor activities for families. Naturally, www.nrafamilyinsights.org has an entire section dedicated to Junior shooters.
Readers may visit this website at any time and review the content for free; there’s no log-in or authentication.
