CZ-USA has released a new chassis rifle, chambered in .22 Long Rifle. The CZ 457 Varmint Precision Chassis rifle, available with either a 16.5" or 24" factory-threaded barrel, is built on an aluminum chassis and weighs in at 7 or 7.5 pounds (depending on configuration). An adjustable Luth-AR stock is attached, which can be reconfigured depending on the shooter. The trigger is also adjustable for weight, creep and over-travel. Feeding the rimfire is a five-round detachable magazine, while a two-position, push-to-fire safety system helps keep said rounds from firing when they shouldn't. A 60-degree bolt handle allows plenty of room for a scope, which can easily be mounted thanks to the receiver's 11 mm dovetail. Finally, the CZ 457's forend provides compatibility with a wide variety of accessories, courtesy of its numerous QD sling sockets and M-Lok slots.
