#SundayGunday: Barrett Sovereign Rutherford Shotgun

by
posted on September 17, 2017

When Barrett—yes, the .50 BMG Barrett—announced a new line of double-barrel shotguns, it came as a surprise. Ronnie Barrett founded his company in 1982 with the purpose of building .50-caliber rifles, and although it has grown to include other centerfires, Barrett has always been known as a tactical rifle company. Thing is, the Barrett family happens to have a few hunters in it. Hunters that, as time went by, really wanted to be able to hunt with firearms that had the family name stamped on the side. The result, of course, is the latest gun to join our #SundayGunday series: the Barrett Sovereign Rutherford. Learn more about it with the video embedded above.
