Rossi has announced the launch of its Brawler single-shot pistol. Boasting a combination of power and precision, it offers shooters the choice between two popular chamberings: .410 Bore and .45 Long Colt. This dual-use capability ensures that users can adapt to various shooting scenarios, making it an ideal choice for hunting, nuisance protection and recreational purposes. The chamber will even accept up to 3-inch, .410-magnum shotshells.

One of the most notable features of the Rossi Brawler is its hammer-fired, break-action single-shot mechanism. This design enhances reliability while simultaneously simplifying operation, making it a great choice for any experience level. The break-action system also allows for quick and easy reloading. To release shots, the Brawler sports a no-nonsense single-action trigger that integrates naturally with Rossi's simplified design concept, as does the gun's cross-bolt safety

Equipped with a picatinny rail, the pistol offers shooters the option to attach their own preferred optics or accessories. For those who prefer to leave the gun stock, on the other hand, it does come with a rear sight attached. The ergonomic, recoil-absorbing grip of the Brawler ensures comfort and control during shooting sessions, enabling shooters to maintain accuracy and stability. The steel receiver with a polymer over-mold provides durability and reliability to withstand rigors of hard use.

Completing its sleek and robust design, the Rossi Brawler features a black oxide finish, adding a touch of elegance while providing corrosion resistance. Its barrel extends nine-inches long, bringing the gun's overall length to 14 inches. Rifling is six groove, with a 1:24-inch righthand twist rate. Weight is 36.8 ounces, unloaded.

All in all, this would be a great round-the-house plinker, or backpacker's sidearm. With it's quick-loading capability, the gun can rapidly be loaded with rat-shot to take care of snakes, then switched over to .45 Long Colt for larger game.
