Browning's High Grade Program has entered its fifth year, and will feature a limited production run of Citori 725 Grade V and Grade VII Trap Models. The enhanced over-under shotguns will receive as much as 30 hours of hand engraving and touch-up work prior to being precisely fit into high-grade walnut.

Nikon Sport Optics has announced its new LaserForce rangefinding binocular, which is designed to range distances from 10 to 1900 yards, with instantaneous readouts. Distances are displayed in 0.1-yard increments to 100 yards, and 1-yard increments over 100 yards. The OLED display offers a 4-step brightness adjustment, making it easily readable under any light conditions and against various objects.

SIG Sauer has announced that it's adding .223 Rem. to its SIG HT line of premium-grade rifle ammunition. The new offering, which is designed with hunters in mind, features an all-copper bullet that's meant to deliver deep penetration and consistent 1.8x diameter expansion.

Hornady's Precision Hunter line was already due to expand in 2017, with the addition of .270 Winchester, 7mm-08 Remington, .280 Remington, .300 Winchester Short Magnum and .300 Weatherby Magnum. But, thanks to the skyrocketing interest in 6mm Creedmoor, the folks from Grand Island, Neb., are adding it to the line, too.

Most modern bullets use polymer tips, but polymer melts at 320-345 degrees Fahrenheit, while bullets can reach temperatures greater than 800 degrees during flight. To counter this, Hornady created the ELD-X hunting bullet with its Heat Shield Tip, which sports a melting point above 700 degrees and degrades far less, making for a more accurate bullet with a higher ballistic coefficient. The company then loaded it in its Hornady Precision Hunter ammo line.
