A talented young artist from Kansas has taken top honors at the National Junior Duck Stamp Art Contest. Margaret McMullen's pair of hooded mergansers will grace the 2021-2022 Junior Duck Stamp.

The 2021-22 Federal Duck Stamp goes on sale Friday, June 25. The stamps, which cost $25 and raise about $40 million for conservation annually, are valid from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022.

A painting by Diane Ford of Bethesda, Md., has been selected as the winner of the 2021 California Duck Stamp Art Contest.

As our friends over at Hunter's Leadership Forum have reported, the hunting theme requirement for Federal Duck Stamp artwork has officially been axed.

The winning artist in each contest receives a $2,000 award and winning artwork is used to produce collector's stamps and other promotional items with sale proceeds benefitting Oregon's fish, wildlife and their habitats.
