Winchester Repeating Arms has announced an immediate recall of select 3½" chamber SXP (Super X Pump) shotguns. Under certain circumstances, the shotguns may unintentionally discharge upon the closing of the action.

IMR Legendary Powders, a subsidiary of Hodgdon Powder Company, has officially announced a product safety warning and recall notice for IMR 4007SSC on six lot numbers. IMR has received reports that the powder in question, shipped in one- and eight-pound containers, may have become unstable due to possible rapid deterioration.

Thompson/Center Arms has issued an immediate recall on all of its Compass rifles. The company has determined that, in some instances, depending on the heigh and position of the rifle and other factors, a chambered round may fire if the firearm is dropped with the safety in the fire position. The recall applies to all Compass rifles manufactured prior to Sept. 16, 2016.

Barnes Bullets has issued a product safety recall on certain VOR-TX ammunition. The company announced earlier this week that consumers should NOT use Barnes .300 Wby. 180-grain TTSX VOR-TX ammunition with lot numbers: Z08SA15L, Z08SB15L, Z09SA15L, Z09SB15L, Z11SB15L, Z11SC15L, Z12SA15L, Z12SB15L, Z12SC15L, Z08SA15R, Z08SB15R, Z09SA15R, Z09SB15R, Z11SB15R, Z11SC15R, Z12SA15R, Z12SB15R or Z12SC15R.

Ruger has issued a safety warning and recall notice for its Mark IV Pistols. All Mark IV pistols manufactured prior to June 1, 2017 have the potential to discharge unintentionally if the safety is not utilized correctly.

Mossberg International, Inc. (Mossberg) has recently discovered a potential safety issue with certain Mossberg International Model SA-410 Shotguns which may lead to personal injury and/or damage to the shotgun.

Tristar Arms, Inc. (TriStar) has discovered a potential safety issue with certain TriStar Viper G2 .410 Shotguns which may lead to serious personal injury and/or damage to the shotgun, and is voluntarily initiating a recall to protect the safety of its customers.

Remington Ammunition has determined that boxes of the referenced lot numbers of Remington Premier AccuTip Slugs - PRA12, may contain shells with an incorrect propellant.
