Taking utility to the next level, Kawasaki has introduced the latest in its line of Mule side-by-side vehicles, the Mule Pro-FXT.

The much anticipated and heavily advertised 2015 Ford F-150 half-ton pickup is now a reality. But compared to the 2014 model, it doesn’t appear much different styling-wise. The minor differences are a restyled grille and distinctive headlights.

Sportsmobile of California has converted vans and built off-highway/backcountry vehicles since 1961. Its four-wheel drive, high-clearance vehicles span a broad spectrum of demands for utility and functionality from basic—“get into the backcountry and hunt”—to luxurious—“get into the backcountry, hunt and enjoy a full range of residential comforts.”

Bad Boy no longer makes buggies. The present owner of Bad Boy changed the name of the side-by-side off-road units it makes because nobody wants to buy a buggy, after all.

Kawasaki introduced its Mule off-highway-vehicle (OHV) in 1988, and has refined the unit ever since. In 2005, the company introduced the six-occupant Mule 3010 Trans 4x4, and that vehicle won American Hunter’s Golden Bullseye Award for Vehicle of the Year. Last year Kawasaki added more torque to its workhorse, and released a Mule Pro powered by an all-new 993cc diesel engine that delivers consistent high-value torque along its performance curve, along with improved utility and enhanced functionality.

Honda introduces the Pioneer 1000 LE (three-passenger) and 1000-5 LE (five-passenger).

The features and capabilities designed and engineered into the 2018 Wolverine X4 greatly improve the recreational side-by-side experience. However, these same important highlights also yield dividends that benefit the outdoor sportsman.

Think of a Roxor as an ATV on steroids. It may well be the kind of vehicle many farmers and ranchers and outfitters want—but in the end it is an ATV.
