In keeping with the trend towards lighter, high-mobility shotguns for pursuing spring gobblers, Benelli USA has expanded the company’s Nova pump shotgun lineup with the release of the Nova Turkey.

The M3500 Predator/Turkey (P/T) is an inertia-operated, 7.5-pound, semi-auto shotgun with a 3½-inch chamber, 24-inch barrel and a pistol grip/hybrid buttstock. It’s dipped in Mossy Oak’s Overwatch camo, the official camo pattern of the NRA.

The third annual Benelli USA Invitational Shoot drew 152 shooters from within the outdoor industry and raised more than $55,000 for Freedom Hunters on Friday, Sept. 15.

Benelli has announced the third annual Benelli USA Invitational, a team-based sporting clays competition that raises money for Freedom Hunters. The shoot will be held on Sept. 15, 2017, at Prince George's County Trap and Skeet in Glen Dale, Maryland.

The second annual Benelli USA Invitational, hosted on Sept. 9, drew 214 shooters and raised more than $31,000 for the organization Freedom Hunters, which supports outdoor opportunities for active duty and combat veterans.

Unless you’re one of those folks out there that’s a devout fan of the centerfire rifle (for all applications), you’ve probably noticed that Italians have a habit of making pretty nice shotguns. And I’m not just talking about the folks that have been at it for nearly five centuries.
