Browning is releasing a new version of its classic A5 model shotgun, and it was a hit at SHOT Show's Media Day at the Range. The gun retains the A5's iconic humpback-shape, but is new and improved in all other respects. Reliable, fast-cycling, recoil-operated, the Browning A5 is poised to be a popular new buy among shotgun fans.

The features include a kinematic action that is inertia operated, unlike your papa's recoil-operated A5.

The resurrected Browning A5 was one of the biggest "buzz products" of last year's SHOW Show, and for 2013 it receives an update that many devoted waterfowlers consider a must-have feature: a 3 1/2-inch chamber.

In 2012, after Benelli’s patent on its inertia action expired, Browning seized opportunity with a new-aged Auto-5, simply called the A5. Today the A5 line includes Mossy Oak bedecked guns and the shoot-all shown above, the new 31/2-inch Stalker, a semi-auto that looks and feels much like the old but that outperforms it in every way.
