New Shotguns for 2013

We all deal with the off-season in different ways. Some people bum around in a state of depression. Others extend their seasons by building wood duck boxes, erecting duck blinds, giving the bird dog a refresher course and shooting a clay or two. Another coping method is going to a gun store and ogling the new shotguns. Here are but a few examples of new models you'll be checking out in 2013.

Would love to see the classic humpback browning come in a left handed model.

I bought an A-5 after a gun jam on a duck a long way away . My son had a 20 ga A-5 when he could hold it . I dropped mine in brackish water when OAT was well below zero and it became a popsicle stick - until I wiped it off , worked the action , then blew the ice out of the barrel with a cpople of shells . I'm hopeing my Rem. 887 nitro ,pump with the xtra rifled barrel that the A-5 doesn't have will be as good a swimmer if iy has to be . Never should have stopped making them .

They ruined the A5 when they put a pistol grip on it. That's all I've ever shot. I won't buy the new A5 with the disgusting pistol grip. The old half pistol grip wasn't a hindrance to quick shooting, or when wearing bulky clothing. You could adjust L.O.P. Some idiot always has to fix something that wasn't broken.

I also own a couple of A-5s and they have taken a beating and still work great , but , since rifles are not allowed in areas I wanted the rifled barrel set-up on this Remington 887 Pump as it will go to zero at 150 yds with a Hornady Sabot Slug . All of them will outlast me .
