Ruger Presents 3rd Million Gun Challenge Check

This morning Ruger CEO and President Mike Fifer presented NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre with a check for more than $315,000, which represents the third installment of the company's "Million Gun Challenge" to benefit the NRA.
Immediately following the check presentation, Fifer announced to LaPierre that Ruger has raised its goal to 1.2 million.
Ruger has pledged to donate $1 to NRA for each new Ruger firearm sold between the 2011 and 2012 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits. The 2011 Meetings, held in April, saw more than 71,000 attendees, and the 2012 NRA Annual Meetings are scheduled for April 13-15, 2012 in St. Louis, Mo.
Ruger presented its second donation—in the amount of $276,500—in November of 2011.
