Three pranksters were arrested after cops spotted them driving around with a goose in the back of their vehicle. From the Chillicothe Gazette:
The driver claimed the goose came from the home of one of her passengers, but then confessed to feeding the bird before they used a net to capture it, the report states.
The passengers gave conflicting statements, including the claim that they brought the goose to one home to clean it before releasing it at another.
Witnesses, however, told police they saw the passengers use a fishing net to capture the goose while the driver watched.
The goose was safely returned to the park. No word on whether it was banded.
