Five Drakes, Five Different Species

Five Drakes, Five Different Species

2/1/2012

Delta Waterfowl posted a must-see photo to its Facebook page this morning:

Sent in by hunter Mark Davidson, it included the following caption:

"This photo shows the first and last time I’ll ever shoot a limit that included five different species with no hens, just drakes. Royal flush!"

There are few things more special than returning from a day on the water with a little diversity on your strap.

How many different species have you bagged in a single day?

What a memorable day. Great photo. I love the diversity of waterfowling. One day you could be hunting a field used by 1000 mallards, the next day hunting a slough used by a variety of species.
