Roger Moore's coonhound, Half Pint, was tracking a raccoon when the trail led her inside a cave. She did not emerge, and Moore grew understandably worried. He could hear Half Pint barking, but couldn't reach her. Talk about heartbreaking. "I didn't think I'd ever get her back," Moore told a local television station. "She got stuck on a ledge. I don't know why she couldn't get off. Scared. Panicked." Half Pint spent the next nine days surviving on rainwater until two firefighters could attempt a daring rescue. LEX18-TV has the story:
