Quail Forever says the hunting should be as good as last year or better in the bobwhite stalwarts of Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. Kansas' central, south-central and southwest regions are doing especially well. Meanwhile, good nesting conditions across Oklahoma and Texas have helped the birds recover from poor weather in 2009.
