The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is reporting record numbers in deer fawn mortality, attributing the deaths to a harsh winter.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is reporting record numbers in deer fawn mortality, attributing the deaths to a harsh winter. Up to 75 percent mortality occured among fawns in the Wyoming Range herd which has not happened since the early 90s. Wildlife officials have said this will affect local deer herds for many years to come.
