For some, a firearm represents a prized possession to pamper; but for others, it's a tool of the trade called upon to perform in the field day in and day out.
The Remington Model 700 BDL in .375 H&H Mag., pictured above topped with a Leupold Vari-X II 2-7X riflescope, was purchased in 1978 by a veteran British Columbia, Canada, guide, and is a prime example of the latter. Since its purchase, the rifle has served without fail and to good effect, particularly on black bear and grizzlies.
