For some, a firearm represents a prized possession to pamper; but for others, it's a tool of the trade called upon to perform in the field day in and day out.

The Remington Model 700 BDL in .375 H&H Mag., pictured above topped with a Leupold Vari-X II 2-7X riflescope, was purchased in 1978 by a veteran British Columbia, Canada, guide, and is a prime example of the latter. Since its purchase, the rifle has served without fail and to good effect, particularly on black bear and grizzlies.

To me this rifle would be worth its wait in gold. It is a piece of history. A real working rifle, not some over priced custom job that a average man can't afford.
