5/23/2012 The Winchester Repeating Arms Model 70 Alaskan Bolt Action rifle is coming back, providing another big-game option for hunters, whether they're in Alaska or elsewhere. The Alaskan will be available in three calibers: 30-06 Sprg., .300 Win. Mag. and .338 Win. Mag. It will ship with a Satin finish Monte Carlo walnut stock, and is equipped with an adjustable rear sight and hooded gold front bead. In an effort to reduce recoil, the Alaskan features a Pachmayr Decelerator Recoil Pad.
