8/11/2011 The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Board has set the September Canada goose and youth waterfowl hunt dates for the state. A statewide hunt for Canada geese will take place September 6-25, 2011. The daily bag limit will be five geese per hunter in most regions. The state's youth waterfowl hunting weekend will take place September 24-25, 2011. Hunters that are 15 years old and younger are welcome to participate as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18. Both must have a valid hunting license.
