President Obama Pardons Alligator Poacher

One of eight pardons made by President Obama two weeks ago included a South Carolina poacher, Bobby Wilson, who was convicted in 1985. Wilson was caught illegally selling alligator hides by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as part of a sting operation.

Well I am glad to see President Obama do something really important for our country. Alligator poachers are right up there near the top of the priority list of important problems that he needs to do. Poaching of any kind is wrong and should not be tolerated but I think we have lots of qualified people with a whole lot more time and intelligence that can take care of poachers. Alligators are not a significant issue here in Southern California but a ban on illegal immigrants and welfare dwellers could sure use some cleaning up.
