8/15/2011 The Pennsylvania Game Commission has set the 2011-12 migratory bird hunting seasons and bag limits for the state. The selections were made after the Commission reviewed last year's season results, waterfowl survey data and input gathered from waterfowl hunters and the public. The annual waterfowl and migratory bird season brochure and zone maps will be featured on the Commission's website this week. The federal framework should allow for a 60-day duck season with a six bird daily limit. Final approval from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is expected in late September.
