No Quotas for Proposed Idaho Wolf Hunt

Idaho Fish and Game officials have announced that the state's proposed fall wolf hunt would not have overall limits.

Idaho Fish and Game officials have announced that the state's proposed fall wolf hunt would not have overall limits and would not have limits in four of its hunting zones. Idaho is also planning a trapping season for wolves in the fall.

Due to the strong impact of wolves preying on elk and other species, the state hopes to reduce its wolf population by more than 188 animals.

The proposed hunt would allow two tags per year, as opposed to just one in past years.
