In New Jersey, two anti-hunting groups, the Bear Education and Resource Group and the Animal Protection League of New Jersey, have filed to appeal a legislation passed recently that allows for a 6-day bear hunt in the state. The Superior Court Appellate Division will make a decision on the matter this Thursday.
