5/11/2012 Nikon has released its new PROSTAFF 5 Laser Rangefinder, a palm-sized production that the company calls an ideal balance of size and power. 10 percent smaller than any of its predecessors, the PROSTAFF 5 is a compact and reliable tool, and is available in a hunter-friendly Realtree APG design. The rangefinder comes with a 6x21 multicoated optical system and has ranging precision out to 600 yards. An eye relief of 18.3mm makes it useable both with and without eyeglasses.
