Nebraska Hunters Give Back with Deer Exchange

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission's Deer Exchange program encourages hunters to donate some of the season's deer meat to locals in need.

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has decided to host its Deer Exchange program again this year.

Designed around the big deer harvest, the program encourages hunters to donate some of the season's deer meat to locals in need.

Both donors and recipients must register online to participate, and then make contact by telephone. All meat must be properly field-dressed and checked before being donated.
