Mountain Lion Spotted in Kansas

The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP) has confirmed that a mountain lion was spotted in Nemaha County, Kansas on December 16. After the original report was made by a resident whose trail camera captured footage of the mountain lion, two biologists investigated the site and confirmed the sighting—making it the fifth mountain lion sighting in the state's recent history.
