Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty's final Governor's Deer Hunting Opener last weekend was a huge success, even though he never fired a shot.

Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty hosted his final Governor's Deer Hunting Opener last weekend, and while many participants bagged a deer, he didn't fire a shot. According to Governor Pawlenty, his main goal was the success of his fellow hunters, and to ensure the program would continue in future years.

The gov was a pretty good gov and he will be missed. He was good to sportsmens and the 2nd Ammend crowd.
