USDA Accepts 4.3 Million Acres for Conservation
The USDA has accepted the millions of acres of land offered under a program designed to help preserve and protect environmentally unstable land.

According to Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, the 4.3 million acres of land offered by landowners have been accepted by the USDA. The land was offered under the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP), a program designed to help preserve and protect environmentally unstable land.
