3/16/2011 Ticks, chiggers and other pesky insects are an accepted hazard of being in the woods during the warmer hunting seasons. Hunters often have to choose between chemical sprays or risk obtaining a myriad of potential diseases as they trek through the woods in search of game. However, with Gamehide’s ElimiTick clothing, hunters have another option to prevent Lyme and other inconvenient diseases. Gamehide uses a process that bonds the natural repellent found in chrysanthemum flowers to fabric to repel ticks and other insects from attacking the wearer. ElimiTick is available in a variety of camouflage patterns, such as Realtree and Mossy Oak, or in brown for off season activities. The Clever Cloth pants feature adjustable waist tabs and five roomy pockets for storing gear, while shirts are available in lightweight pullover or heavier button up versions. Gamehide also produces facemasks and caps with the same insect prevention material. For additional information about Gamehide’s ElimiTick clothing and accessories, please visit the Gamehide website.
